Stripped materials — per kilo
Materials sorted by grade. PCBs must be free of steel, alloy, plugs and other attachments — a 30% deduction applies if they're not. Higher grades (mirror-back CPUs, ceramic chips, mil-spec telecom) hold the most metal value and pay accordingly.

How the pricing works
UK e-waste prices are driven by a few core inputs:
- Metal content. Gold, palladium, copper and lead are the metals being recovered. Mirror-back CPUs and ceramic 286/386/486 chips have visible gold and pay £100–£230/kg. Brown phenolic boards have almost none and pay £0.60/kg.
- London Metal Exchange spot prices. Our per-kg rates update when LME copper or gold moves significantly.
- Refinery yield. Different smelters/refineries pay differently for different feedstocks. We ship sorted material directly to UK/EU refiners — no middlemen — so more of the recovery value comes back to you.
- Sorting cost. Mixed and contaminated lots cost more to sort, hence the 30% deduction on dirty PCBs.
WEEE compliance & paperwork
Every collection generates a Waste Transfer Note (WTN) on request. We're registered with the Environment Agency as Waste Carrier/Broker/Dealer CBDU607333 (verify on the public register).
Operated by Pyco Renew Ltd (Companies House 16774881, VAT GB505306526). Photo ID and proof of address required on first sale — one-time check, then on file.
Volume / trade accounts
Regular volume gets a different deal:
- +5–15% above listed rates on recurring lots
- Net 14 or Net 30 monthly invoicing
- Priority weigh-in slots
- Scheduled van collections
- WTNs auto-generated per collection

What's the minimum collection?
50 kg or 20 units triggers free pickup across the North West, M62 corridor and London. Bigger national jobs over 250 kg we cover the freight anywhere mainland UK. Smaller lots you post in.
Do you buy CRT/LCD monitors?
No. They're WEEE-regulated. Here's why and where to take them.
How fast do you pay?
Same week. Usually 1–2 working days from weigh-in to bank.
Can I bring it in myself?
Yes — Unit D13, Fieldhouse Industrial Estate, Rochdale OL12 0AA, Mon–Fri 09:00–17:00. Call ahead if it's over 100 kg.
